Douteki (2007) is a 3D sound reactive platform game built in Unity for my final year Degree project. It also won a D&AD New blood award in 2007. Douteki utilises sound/ the users voice as a different form of interaction, prompting a new and engaging experience for the user. The user guides ‘Oshi’ through multiple levels, with varying obstacles and difficulty, using their voice as motion. I designed, developed, and packaged Douteki for my degree final project. I did so using the games engine Unity, Cinema 4D for 3D modeling, and Photoshop / Illustrator to produce: skins, GUI’s, menus, and packaging. I was then awarded a 1st class mark for the project and a 2:1 overall for my degree.
